His ability to attain such expertise across so many instruments and to blend his music into so many genres is astonishing. Equally at home on guitar, sitar, dilruba (bowed sitar), fiddle, mandolin and tabla, he’s one of Australia’s most versatile musicians. He’s performed around the world, on guitar at guitar festivals, on mandolin at Bluegrass festivals, and on sitar for Pandit Ravi Shankar at his home in Delhi. |

![]() | Josh Bennett & Parvyn Singh – Ensemble Parvyn and Josh (see his section above) will work together to get the Ensemble into action! Parvyn is a multidisciplinary artist who has spent her life on stage, beginning her international touring career at the age of seven with her family’s band Dya Singh, then as front-woman of cult psychedelic band The Bombay Royale. Her debut solo record ‘Sa’ (released Sep 2021) was nominated for the 2022 ARIA ‘Best World Music’ Album of the Year, the prestigious Australian Music Prize, and the AusIndies Best Independent Soul/RnB Album of the Year. She has performed her current solo project at festivals including WOMADelaide, Mona Foma, Darwin Festival, OzAsia Festival, the National and Woodford Folk Festival. |
| Vinod Prassana – Bansouri/Flutes Born into one of India’s greatest flute-playing families, award-winning bansuri (flute) virtuoso Vinod Prasanna shines as an outstanding performer of authentic traditional and contemporary Indian music. Vinod’s emotive melodies, exquisite improvisations and divine flute song distinguish his performance of Indian classical, world and meditation music. Simply, Indian music at its finest. Currently residing in Australia, Vinod is a performing and recording artist, teacher, craftsman and ambassador of the Bansuri. ![]() | Lynnelle Moran – Whistles Lynnelle has been playing traditional Irish flute and tin whistle since childhood and has led and contributed to various ensembles, performing at festivals throughout Australia and overseas. She has taught trad flute and tin whistle for many years, including at the Lake School of Irish Music and the Turramurra and Roses Gap Music Camps. Lynnelle has a beautiful, welcoming style of teaching that encourages and supports people to connect with the tradition. |
| Lev & Zac Whitelaw – Youth Band Two-Headed Boy is a duo started at Rosewood by brothers Lev and Isaac – Rosewood and Turramurra regulars. They now play original jazz-folk songs in the Melbourne scene. | ![]() |

If he’s not working with one of the four bands he’s in you’ll find him coordinating his ukulele groups on midweek evenings or teaching guitar or blues harmonica. | Sile Coleman – Toddler/Kids Music Sile has been part of Irish band, Saoirse, for over 16 years, singing up a storm at festivals in in Australia and overseas. Music education has always been at the heart of Sile’s teaching career with training in the Early Years, Primary and Secondary; teaching the love of music, singing, guitar, ukulele and choir. Sile facilitates a local all-age, all-ability choir, the All In Sing, in the North East of Victoria. Join Sile for a fun and inclusive singing workshop (ages 5-12) where we will come together, share voices, make friends and learn a song to share. Sile’s approach is based on the values of accessibility and community, and most importantly, fostering the inherent creativity of children through song. | ![]() |
| Margot Feast – Art Margot Feast is a multidisciplinary artist and educator based in Chewton, Victoria. Alongside her own creative practice of furniture design and making, Margot has designed and delivered hundreds of visual art workshops for children and families at galleries, festivals, and community events. Margot’s workshops are centred on creativity, material exploration and celebrating individual expression. Having travelled in India herself, Margot is looking forward to incorporating the vivid colours, patterns and celebratory spirit that India and its art inspire. | ![]() |
