Hi folks, I haven’t seen the movie ‘Yesterday’ yet but I’m looking forward to seeing it

Hi folks, just a friendly reminder that uke starts back this Wednesday
Slightly different this year, in that block payment will follow the school terms. I think this might be better for those who have school aged children
The cost is basically the same except that 1st term only has 9wks. Which means for those who pay by the term, it will be $90 for the 1st term
Still $15 per session casual
I am running a beginners group for the month of Feb. Tuesday nights (see previous post) If anyone that is already paying by the term who feels that they might get something from the beginners group, you are welcome to come Tuesday nights at no extra cost
Look forward to seeing you all again. Pete

Great practice tonight….if there is anyone who wants to camp that I don’t already have down as camping. Please let me know and I’ll see what i can do. Same goes for partner tickets. We don’t always get them but send me names and I’ll see what I can do. People do not need tickets to see us perform as everything in the streets is free
Our 1st performance will be 9.30am Saturday beginning at the market (venue 9) see map
2018-MFF-Program-V17-venue-map-page-only
then onto the festival office (venue 13)
We will have a 2nd performance Saturday arvo 2pm. Meet outside the Maldon hotel
I have a workshop 11am – 2pm on Sunday. If anyone is available to give me a hand it would be greatly appreciated
3rd performance 2pm Sunday meeting a the Maldon hotel again
Wear something colorful and/or outrageous…..Hawaiian shirts or your hippy wear from last year’s BB&R
It will be better to stand. It looks better and you end up having more fun but for those who can’t I will get some seats from Musos Stuff
Please share music stands (if you need them) and don’t forget to bring pegs
Remember, Have fun. Don’t stress. no-one ever died from a wrong chord or a forgotten lyric…..it’s gunna be great!

Hi Folks, Mark Jackson is holding Beginners workshop this Saturday. Here’s what he has to say for himself
Hey Bendigo friends. Would you kindly share this event? I’m running a Beginners Ukulele Workshop next Saturday at Muso’s Stuff – Bendigo. I’m coming down from Newcastle for Laurie‘s 60th. Looking forward to hanging at The Good Loaf Sourdough Bakery & Cafe. Thanks to Peter for helping to coordinate things (and for this piccie from donkey’s years ago – look closely in the middle, underneath the pink ukulele).
I’m still on about community. It’s what I learned most about living in Bendigo. The uke is such a superb way to create and sustain community. It’s all about the music and coming together to enjoy making it.
…and here’s the link to the event… https://www.facebook.com/events/2192672977618615/
